【Ingredients】
Rabies human immunoglobulin, derived from healthy human plasma.
Main excipients: glucose, 30-50g/L.
【Properties】
This product is a colorless or light yellow clear liquid with opalescence. There should be no foreign matter, turbidity or lingering precipitation.
【Indications】
It is mainly used for passive immunization of patients bitten or scratched by rabies or other animals carrying rabies virus.
【Dosage】
Dosage: After timely and thorough debridement, use 1/2 of the total dose of the product for subcutaneous infiltration injection at the site of injury, and the remaining 1/2 for intramuscular injection (for head bites, it can be injected into the muscles of the back).WHO suggests that as many injections as possible should be made into the wound site, and if there is no sufficient amount of the product, it can be used by saline diluted by two to three times.
Dosage: The injection dose is calculated as 20IU/kg body weight (or as prescribed by the doctor) and is given as a single injection, or if the total dose required is greater than 10ml, it can be given in separate injections over 1 to 2 days. Rabies vaccination can then be administered, but the injection sites and instruments for the two products should be strictly separated.

Standard adverse reaction monitoring data are yet to be accumulated. A small number of people have redness, swelling and pain, which can recover on their own without special treatment.
